Wyatt

Wyatt Dixon. Wyatt is a 10 year old shredder! His first introduction to gravity sports came in 2014 with snowboard lessons and a trip to Bend for some lift assisted fun on Mt Bachelor. He took to gravity sports like a duck to water. Wyatt, along with his brother Owen, are inseparable on their bikes and provide each other a constant source of built in competition pushing each other to reach beyond their comfort zone and extend their abilities.

Wyatt has never met a stranger and seems to know everyone by the end of the day wherever we go racing. His strengths on the bike include an innate ability to fearlessly navigate difficult terrain while (generally) recognizing the limits of his skill set and pushing the envelope. He strives to be the youngest kid who stands on the podium for Cat 2 on his way to becoming a Junior-Ex racer when he turns 15. Countless times Wyatt rolled in to the lift line with someone 2 or 3 times his age, grabs a high five and soaks in the same sentiment he has heard so many times before…“I wish I was as good as you are when I was nine”. He is proud of his accomplishments while acknowledging that he needs to continue to develop his skills and grow as a rider.

Wyatt is a little ripper with a big heart who is ready to show anyone willing to ride with him how much he enjoys being a kid on a mountain bike…jumping every root, thanking the lift workers, roosting every berm and perfecting that illusive stoppie as he rolls off
